Do position the device

• along opening edge of the door/window opposite the hinges
• with Magnet on opening part of door/window
• with Detector on fixed frame
• with the mark on Magnet & Detector aligned
• so that the gap between Magent & Detector is less than 10mm when the door/window is closed
• within radio range of the Control Panel (or Siren)

Don't position the device

• directly onto, behind or very close to metalwork
